The Fourth Symposium on OpenFOAM® in Wind Energy (SOWE 2016) will be held on May 2-4, 2016 at the Delft University of Technology Science Centre in Delft, the Netherlands. Registration and abstract submission is now open! The symposium presents the state of the art in wind energy computations using OpenFOAM® , allows people to share knowledge, and identifes common problems that should be addressed. Previous editions held in Oldenburg (Germany), Boulder (Colorado, USA) and Milan (Italy) proved to be a success. Most relevant topics are reported below and the presentations will be arranged according to the described arguments.

CFD Alpha Tech (www.cfdalphatech.com) in Delft is looking for a research manager with expertise in OpenFOAM. The 8th meeting of the Dutch OpenFOAM User Group will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in the afternoon. The international speaker is a representative of CFD Direct http://cfd.direct/. In addition, there will be a variety of talks about applications of OpenFOAM to academic and industrial problems.
