Dutch OpenFOAM® Users Group

On September 21, 2012 an introductory course in the use of OpenFOAM for computational fluid dynamics analysis will be given at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of Delft University of Technology, in Delft.

During the conference BIFURCATIONS AND INSTABILITIES IN FLUID DYNAMICS, 8 - 11 July 2013, Haifa, Israel (see http://bifd2013.technion.ac.il/), a minisymposium "Computational methods for bifurcation and stability analysis" will be organized in which CFD codes are to be compared on two problems. The first is the 3D Lid Driven Cavity problem and the second consists of the Boussinesq equations on a sector North Atlantic model.

On November 14, 2012 the Second Gothenburg Region OpenFOAM User Group Meeting will take place. The purpose of this meeting is to bring together people working with OpenFOAM in the Gothenburg region, to get to know eachother and share experiences. It is up to the participants to define if they belong to the Gothenburg region - we had participants from Germany and Great Britain in the previous workshop.
