Dutch OpenFOAM® Users Group

Professor Håkan Nilsson is organizing two courses and a user group meeting in the week from November 10th-14th in Gothenburg, Sweden. The courses consist of a beginners course and a course for advanced users/developers. The user group meeting is in between the two courses and is a nice add-on for participants in any of the two courses. Check out the Upcoming Events on the left of this page for more information.

On September 11, 2014 an introductory course on the use of OpenFOAM for computational fluid dynamics analysis will be given at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of Delft University of Technology, in Delft. The course is organized by Delft Centre for Computational Science and Engineering

The HPC (High Performance Computing) enabling of OpenFOAM for CFD applications is a technical, 3 days, review course, which start on March 26th, 2014 in Bologna (Italy). The aim of the course is to provide to the participants a clear update, from a technical point of view, of the key subjects, models and tools available today on OpenFOAM, the standard de-facto CFD open-source library .

The course will focus on the usability and performances of OpenFOAM on modern HPC platforms. Specifically, examples and case history of real life industrial relevant problems will be discussed, highlighting the cost-effective benefits obtained using this open-source CFD library on HPC infrastructures.
